fundamentally art nouveau and brutalism cannot exist at the same time. art nouveau is ABOUT organic shapes, ornamentation, and asymmetry, whereas the entire point of brutalism is inorganic forms, strong straight lines, and little to no fine detail

i dont wanna say L takes entirely bc theres a reason brutalism has flourished as a style (outside of how cheap it is as an architectural style to reproduce). people find it interesting
