Texas is such an overrated place. Garbage weather and scenery, awful politics, no one can drive, poor education roads and healthcare. I don’t know how some people love it so much

I’m from Texas originally (Houstonish) it’s a BIG state to go with that big generalization. It’s practically a country. Garbage weather where? The panhandle? The coast? There are also two national parks so the scenery can’t be all bad. Sure, Ted Cruz sucks and the gerrymandering is effective but go somewhere like Austin or Houston and you get pride parades and vegan restaurants. It would be great to be on the grid but again. Also I’ve seen much worse drivers in other states!

Like is they accepted that the main draw of texas is the idea of southern hospitality, sugary snacks, and gay cowboys maybe texas could become what its imagined to be. But rn its infested with dumbass illiterate homophobes that couldnt rub two neurons together if their lives depended on it lmao

Texas is a fun state! It’s not for everyone and it can be touristy but it doesn’t really over promise anything. I think Las Vegas is more overrated than Texas is from a what you get for what you’re promised stand point.
