Man I want a cat so bad but I realize that if I can barely take care of my self how am I gonna take care of a whole other life form

Really not that expensive if you find everything cheap/low end. They’re animals at the end of the day. As long as their tummies are full, they get rubs toys and treats (also all dollar store) they’re happy. Just find what’s the cheapest in the area to buy. Mine used to be pic n save brand and now it’s a Walmart brand. And I get treats and toys from Ross or the dollar store. The bed and bowls and shampoo can all come from the same Place for less than 100$ and last like 3/4 months with big bags.

Thanks a lot for the tips! I was more so tryna say that I usually don’t eat myself and am too lazy to cook and often leave off cleaning until the very end. I realize that I gotta work on that first before I can get a pet

This is so respectable, a lot of people don’t consider the fact that they wouldn’t be able to give cats the time and attention they need to be happy because everyone thinks they’re so low maintenance. Good on you fr.
