Thing about that is most money you pay for music regardless goes to the label not the artist. Money musicians make anymore is from touring and even then it’s difficult. As for games look at what Nintendo is doing. Even if you have the physical copy they still could lock you outve it.

Idk bro my bro-in-law just signed an $85k record deal. If the label doesn’t get paid neither do the artists in this case. Sad but true.

my favorite artist is from a small record label so i don’t mind if they get paid too. also i do NOT support nintendo, i don’t plan on ever getting a switch 2 or anymore of their games after what they’re doing now. i prefer xbox and pc much more anyway (and a lot of times i buy my xbox games secondhand)

I’m a hardcore Nintendo fan but I’m not getting the switch 2 or new games either. I have so many special memories of Nintendo franchises but I can’t support this.

Stop with this black pill bullshit. I’m an independent game developer. There is no publisher. Just because steam takes 30% doesn’t mean I don’t want or deserve the other 70%.

Genuinely wouldn’t be pirating if I don’t have to be paying for ads. Hell I’d even take one three minute ad at the beginning of an episode
