Like genuinely I was sitting there like “of course it sounds better, you went from spotify to Tidal, the Audiophile Streaming Service” but no they were streaming at the equivalent to Spotify’s “normal” setting. Idfk what they’re doing over at spotify HQ but it is NOTICABLY shit to people who aren’t even detail-oriented listeners
