I just hit a deer on the way home from work and my whole headlight is smashed. I’m fucking breaking down cause I’ve never done anything to my car, and now I’m fucking scared about my parents reaction. Great way to ruin an already hard day🫩

Send me a message and I can take a look at it Monday and see if it’s an easy fix. If so, I’ll teach you how to fix it. I rebuild engines as a hobby and use to do body work professionally. Happy to help if you’d accept it. Least I can do its let ya know if you’ll need to submit an insurance claim.

don’t worry about it, headlights are such a cheap quick and easy fix. your parents are gonna be glad it’s just a headlight, deer don’t fuck around typically 😭

It’s a hobby I’ve always enjoyed. I grew up working on vehicles then did it professionally for almost 15 years

Shoot me a message. It looks like the front quarter panel is bent and separated. The bumper being cracked and detached can be fixed but replacement parts would need to eventually be painted. The question would be can that front quarter panel be straightened enough to get it back into place. Generally creases like that are hard to straighten but not impossible. Can you post a closer picture of the side of the truck as you’re looking at the wheel. Try to include the light and the bent part

It’s pretty cracked and crumbly and I can’t try moving it into place with out more pieces breaking

I’m happy to give it a try and at least get it drivable and safe. It won’t be pretty though. Send me a dm

I can straighten and assuming none of the mounting brackets are badly ripped, the panel can be reattached. You’ll have to buy a new headlight housing

Na I don’t have the tools for that much damage. If I had the tools, yeah but that’s a lot of damage and it would be better to run through insurance
