Yeahh, a lot of times when I post about it on here, I get a lot of comments like that. I honestly think a lot of them might be bots though because there has been stuff in the news about how the Israeli government uses bots to promote their narrative. People use bots to manufacture social consensus. Thats my POV at least since I dont know anyone in real life who supports what the Israeli govt is doing
I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how ai is going to be used or is being used. I think a part of it is just ignorance. People watch one news station or only news station in America and it warps their perspective of it rather than the objective truth. I’ve found YouTube provides a wide range of perspectives but obviously be skeptical always!
Genuine attempt to be helpful here, but falsely labeling a conflict a genocide is going to get you some hot shit. Even I agree that the conflict is bad and I wish Israel did more to protect civilians, but calling it a genocide I’d just blatantly not true. You can advocate for more protections while being truthful (in my and many other’s eyes)
Instead of arguing or trying to show you, I’ll just ask how much time and effort you’ve put into researching the geopolitics of Israel and Palestine. I’d also like to know what sources you’re using. Personally (because I’m a nerd for geopolitics), I’ve put in somewhere around 9 hours. That’s from YouTube, CNN, Fox, firsthand reports from my Jewish friend from Israel, and my professor who is also from Israel but is currently working in the USA. If you have any sources you’d like to share pls do!
