If you don’t like cats you have control problems and I will not explain further and if this feels like a personal attack then you have some serious self reflection to do

I don’t like them because they make me lose control of my sinuses and tear ducts.

They stink. Everyone thinks that they scoop enough. No one ever scoops enough.

Some of them are just straight assholes. People always say “but my cat is so sweet!!!🥺🥺🥺”. Like yeah, maybe to YOU, but to a random person? They might scratch their eyes out. Put a dog in front of a random person and they are best friends immediately

Allergy meds give me a headache. Though I don’t dislike outdoor cats.

That’s valid. Eventually I plan to get an allergy shots so I can stop having to take mine… I have four cats lol

All I’m saying is never, in my 21 years of life, have I been attacked by a dog. But I’ve been straight up harassed by several cats, just completely unprompted. One moment it will be purring in my lap the next I’m bleeding

I have. It was also completely unprompted. The difference is when a cat bites or scratches *usually* there are signs but people don’t know what to look for. The dog that attacked me chased me down, I had no interactions with it prior. Also cat bites vs dog bites are VERY different

I never said all dogs don’t attack people. Dogs reflect their owners, if they have been abused or are strays they are likely to attack. Or if the owners let the dog think they are the “alpha” of the family the dog can be very aggressive. However with a good family, a dog will almost never attack people. Can’t say the same for cats though. I’ve seen cats with amazing people as their owners be assholes

And the point you made of dogs never giving off “signs” is completely false. There are very obvious signs dogs give off that aren’t subtle, tail between the legs, ears laid flat, growling etc.

I never said dogs don’t give off signs. I said cats do give off signs but people don’t know how to read them. And I said the one that attacked me didn’t because I didn’t even go near it, it came after me. I also didn’t that you said all dogs don’t attack. I just stated that I have seen them attack, because you said you hadn’t compared to cats.
