What exactly has mistranslated in the Bible? Also, your meme implies Jesus is God. Also, define “brown.” We do know that his ethnicity is Middle Eastern, not black/Sub-Saharan African, not white/European, not South Asian, not East Asian, not Aboriginal, not Native American, not Siberian, not Inuit, not Pacific Islander. Jesus could perhaps blend in like any other person if he wore modern clothes. Your point. As a Middle Easterner in the Jim Crow South he probably would face discrimination…

Also Jesus did not exist, and the crucifixion was a cruciFICTION Let me educate you: Arab is not a genetic entity, it’s a religio-linguistic affinity group. Sudanese blacks and blond haired Syrians both identify as Arab. Most Levantine Muslims do not have much genetic admixture from the Peninsular Arab expansion that came with Islam. Generally military campaigns do not really change the local population genetics much (if at all).

Jesus (if he existed at all) probably looked very similar to Muhammad. The Jews of Europe are heavily admired with Germanic people and are not an accurate phenotypic representation of ancient Levantines. The closest genetic relatives of ancient Levant people including the Israelites are found in Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine among Muslims, Druze and local Christians.

Modern European Jewish people are not an accurate phenotypic representation of what their ancient Israelite ancestors look like. There is no more guesswork needed. Genetic studies have found that the closest modern populations to ancient Israelites are found among people in Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine—local Druze, Muslims, and Christians.

Just because Ashkenazi Jews don’t look exactly like ancient Hebrews doesn’t change the fact that Jesus was a Hebrew. Also, the plurality of Israel’s population is Mizrahi Jewish and look exactly like ancient Hebrews did. Jordanians are a combination of Ammonites and Arabs, Lebanese are a combination of Phoenicians and Arabs, and Palestinians are a cross between Edomites, Moabites, Arabs and perhaps Philistines/Greeks.
