Yeah this is actually a massive red flag and is a reason why I get nervous for women who allow men to buy them things knowing they aren’t interested. It’s not the women’s fault, but there are lots of men who will expect something in return and when you don’t deliver they can become dangerous.

This is why I don’t entertain the self proclaimed “nice guy” that insists on doing things for you without you asking. They are always keeping tabs and will lose their minds if you don’t repay them for being “chivalrous”
