It’s a bit concerning how some people are quick to call anyone fat, especially anyone over 30 like yeah they could have a roll or two but what’s the problem

The problem is that when you’re even slightly overweight you’ve already reduced your quality of life, your length of life, and increased the chances of organ failure, heart problems, and overall health decline. I’m sorry but being 30 isn’t an excuse to not eat healthy and move your body. You can be 30 and still be in good shape

Cool, make it so medication is better researched more quickly, food swamps and food deserts don’t exist, and that ableism isn’t an obstacle. Then we can talk about it.

And yet it’s not always enough to workout and eat healthily. Bodies are incredibly complicated. You can be heavier and still healthy. You can be in a healthier range and be incredibly unhealthy.

the thing is, being “slightly overweight” is completely subjective in most people’s eyes. celebrities will get called fat for actually being a healthy weight. men will call women of a healthy size overweight if they’re not stick thin. i see it and hear it all the time. having a little extra weight isn’t going to kill you, it’s completely normal with growing up and also with certain disorders

first of all, not true. fat isn’t unhealthy to have. fat people are only unhealthy when they aren’t eating right or exercising, or when the extra weight is straining their joints. it’s more dangerous to be underweight than overweight. and yes, a medical professional told me this. also, how is this your business at all??????????? some people have problems and you dont need to be a dick about it
