How would you expect people to offer their thoughts and not discuss politics? It literally involves our politicians? What thoughts do you want? We’ve had a general consensus of “This is bad! We should do something!” for months now.

I’m now processing the knowledge that he’s connected to a horse family I looked up to my whole life through the ownership of the horses the family would ride, and very much so need one of those family members to confirm they themselves never were in contact w him and it was just the main owner.

I agree with ur main point but also. Rape is political. Our (loose) laws around rape affect our culture around rape, and vice versa. Rape has been allowed in our country for centuries without hard laws to protect victims and punish rapists. Our politics shape our culture, and our culture shapes our politics. The two aren’t separable if you want to have a detailed conversation about the files and the people in them.
