No. Things that are necessary go obsolete: riding horses for travel, guns in war, fax machines. Art doesn't go obsolete, because it's by nature unnecessary. Mosaic art, pottery, poetry, chamber music-- all of this stuff still hangs around. Acting is part of the art of performance. Never going away. Evergreen. Lindy.

Even if AI does, there will be so many other careers impacted first. If even 20% of our jobs get taken, we’ll have to fundamentally reorganize our economy. Pursue what makes you happy, don’t worry about getting replace by AI.
