Are you referring to the Minnesota legislators? Because no republican in the entire country was literally celebrating that. Nobody was happy about that in the slightest. Many republicans actively condemned it, so I guess you just didn’t see all of that.

i find it strange though that trump ordered flags be at half mast until sunday evening for kirk but not for them. it’s very obviously favoritism and not a good look

While both are horrible, I think the reason for that was Kirk was simply more influential. Everyone knew who he was. It’s so sad that two innocent people were killed, but unfortunately that happens so often now that we can’t lower the flags for everyone. Charlie Kirk had a strong influence on social media and the younger generation.

it’s not every day that american politicians are killed. it was favoritism, and if not that, then a publicity stunt (which shouldn’t be something the government does)
