My bf truly believes Charlie Kirk is not racist. He told me to give examples and context for the things he said that are. I did make a list. But I don’t think it will matter. I lost respect for him and I don’t think this is something to work through-

It is such a big deal because every semester something crazy and racially motivated happens to me. I can’t trust him to know when to spot blatant racism. I feel like he won’t even do anything in that scenario either. Several times when we have been out, I get cat called and he was more so proud than upset by it. He likes the validation it gives him

He also said a lot of shit about George Floyd. Like he’d say George was a “scumbag” and said he overdosed on fentanyl. Charlie, among other things, was a racist. I’d go far as to say he was a stochastic terrorist.

He most definitely was. Him dying in a tragic way does not make him a martyr or excuse his conduct when he was alive.

I feel bad for the two kids who someday will likely see it online somewhere. Kids are cruel. A kid may think it’s funny and show it to them. It sucks they don’t get to have a parent. I don’t think he deserves to go out like that. It is ironic that it was due to gun violence. This is the same dude who said he would force his daughter to carry a baby to term if she was a ten year old who was raped and became pregnant.
