What’s really annoying is the fact that the HR woman at the Coldplay concert was cheating too but only the CEO got dragged through the mud by the company and the public. She has yet to face any consequences and it’s nothing short of sexist hypocrisy

I also feel really bad for her husband because he got cheated on too yet no one cares and people only care about the CEO’s wife.

It’s not sexist hypocrisy, she no longer works there either and the reason he’s received more heat online is because he was her boss and that’s an inappropriate power dynamic

He wasn’t given grief for the “inappropriate power dynamic” he was given grief for his cheating whereas she has not been dragged through the mud at all. Also, they are two consenting adults, so unless you have evidence he threatened her job or pay if she didn’t sleep with him then that’s not the issue at hand. They are both cheaters and both deserve to be dragged through the mud

I saw a lot of posts giving him grief for the inappropriate power dynamic tbh. That’s why people felt comfortable making fun of him for cheating - yes they’re adults but he’s also her boss - I have no clue how their relationship started maybe she initiated it maybe he coerced her, probably somewhere in between, but you can’t pretend it’s a 100% even playing field. Even if you didn’t see people taking about the power dynamic you have to understand it plays into public perception and shifts the

Blame more onto him. Additionally, he’s a CEO and they have not been loved by the general American public over the last few years, further adding fuel. There’s a number of reasons why he got more heat online but ultimately both of their careers are pretty much ruined and this is not a smear campaign against men

Do you have any evidence at all that she was coerced? I’ll wait.

They’re both cheaters and both deserve the same grief for their actions. Any variance is hypocritical. Unless you have evidence that she was threatened/coerced, which in that case would make her a victim.
