I know victims who question what happened to them because their rapists convinced them that them being “wet” meant that they were into it.

I worded my comment wrong. What I meant was that they feel like they can’t categorize what happened to them as rape/SA because of the perpetrator using their bodily response as justification even when they were forced and coerced so they suffer in silence. It’s devastating.
