in order to get rid of it you need to replace it with a better choice, more positive habit! find like a hobby or something else to do when you feel like you want to drink!!

that’s what has helped me at least, it’s still hard no matter what but it’s 10x easier if you replace it with a better choice than just stopping and leaving the spot empty
