I have felt the weight of this all day and finally started crying about it. I cannot believe anyone would be thinking about anything other than his family and the state of this country

You’re crying over a deplorable piece of shit instead of kids that were shot in school?

I’ve cried over deaths of people who I grew up with, had connections with, felt connected to, grew up watching, etc. no I didn’t know him personally but have you never grown up looking up to someone that guided you to voice and created your own opinions and feel confident in yourself? This goes beyond just his death. This showed us, even though it was quite obvious, just how divided our country is and just how far some people will go when it comes to people having a difference of opinion.

that was actually a genuine question like i’m curious if they normally cry learning about people dying or if they are only so emotional because it’s charlie kirk

Oh. Sorry. Yeah idk the selective outrage is ridiculous coming from both political extremes imo. I think we should be outraged every time someone is brutally killed without any kind of due process. I’ve seen people who i know have said they are against the death penalty cheer for the death of kirk. I’m not mourning him but its really creepy to me how excited and desensitized people are towards someone’s very violent and very public death
