He was a father and a husband. As someone who did not agree with everything he said, I am still disgusted with anyone who would support his murder. He was controversial but agree or disagree I've never seen him agressive or violent. prayers to his family

He regularly spouted horrific bullshit about minorities and called for violence against others. He readily said he would force his daughter to carry a rape baby to term. He does not deserve tears. He was a white nationalist, racist, ableist, Queerphobic piece of shit who said dead kids were a “cost” that is “worth it” to keep guns. I only feel bad for the kids. Not a single shred of care about him.

But he was aggressive. He yelled at people all the time and planted seeds of hatred in his viewers. He claimed the civil rights act was a mistake, told women they should go to college to meet men instead of being successful, belittled minorities all the time, advocated for allowing more school shootings to happen, compared any type of abortion to genocide, and refused to acknowledge that DEI affects women and disabled people too.

As I said I do not agree with the things he said, but we live in a place of free speech for a reason. You should be able to speak your mind on any topic and whether or not your opinions are repulsive to others shouldn't cost you your life. If you don't want to live somewhere with free speech than by all means try somewhere else, but the entire point is to protect you regardless of your opinions. He probably thinks your opinions are disgusting but if he did that to you I'd be just as repulsed.

Free speech, not filtered speech and even though I disagree with what he believes, his life should never even be in question. Especially considering he himself has no role in the government makes it even more disgusting - this will not change anyone's life but his friends and his family. If your family shared his opinions I imagine you'd be offended and repulsed but would you end their life? I doubt it, and I hope not.
