The only cop that died had an allergic reaction to pepper spray and had to be hospitalized as a result, then had two strokes in the hospital as a result of the reaction, the second of which unfortunately claimed his life. have the people that are calling the protests violent actually watched live streams from the protesters? it’s majorly peaceful and only a handful of bad apples (possibly uncover feds/cops and just general troublemakers) that are causing issues. the cops are causing most issue; one shot a news reporter in the face who was just standing there reporting and tried to detain another reporter for just being there. they’re also throwing flash bangs into crowds and shooting ppl who were just gathering

Totally agree abt the few bad apples. Do not doubt that the protests were meant to be peaceful. IMO, us peeps who want to protest need to get smarter - both sides. When things start to get chaotic and dangerous, and property starts to get damaged and/or people start to get hurt - we shud stop, try to get the situation under control and back to peaceful, and if it can’t then just go home.

That way the bad actors get arrested. And again this applies to the right and the left. I’m sure some people did do that on jan 6th and in la, but more people should have left. More people should have left on Jan 6 when they broke past the barriers rather than following the mob; and more people should have left in LA when people started throwing rocks and setting the US flag on fire
