Posts about the freedom flotilla are getting shadow-banned and taken down on Meta platforms :/ It gives me such a bad feeling that someone is intentionally trying to prevent people from knowing about it

They’re talking about the Freedom Flotilla. It’s a boat of a group of activist trying to break the Israeli military blockade. Greta Thunberg is on it.

And??? My second point remains. Every country has benefited from the use of fossil fuels and their continued purchase. Ever hear of the US and EU? I wonder who are buying from them that give them that money to give Palestine? What countries have helped continue an inhumane, environmentally destructive siege that’s pumping GHGs and toxic chemicals into the air by sending Israel money and weapons? How is where their aid comes from justification to ignore what’s happening to them?

I never understood why Greta Thunberg so strongly supports a group that is funded via fossil fuel sales. It’s like she actually doesn’t care about the climate.

1. They're not. Palestine isn't an oil state. 2. Even if they were, all groups are in some capacity. That doesn't make them inherently inferior nor justify what's happening to them. 3. She's already explained why. These predicaments are connected. “‘As a climate justice movement, we have to listen to the voices of those who are being oppressed and those who are fighting for freedom and for justice. Otherwise, there can be no climate justice without international solidarity," Thunberg said."
