Yeah, it’s the algorithm pissing them off. Social media companies want people engaged no matter how—and anger is a good way to keep them online. That’s why everyone’s parents are tripping over made up social issues, they’re lacking media literacy

We need more people educated on this. If people are addicted to social media because they see things that make them pissed off I think people are more likely to become less empathetic and more hateful.
