This kind of mindset is super messed up. Being racist is very bad. That doesn’t mean we should kill them. This is America. We don’t just kill people who have offensive opinions. Even racists are human beings

In America we follow the LAW because that’s how DEMOCRACY works something our president could learn. The National Guard hasn’t been used like this in nearly 60 years. It’s only legal if the president is incapacitated, there’s an invasion, or an insurrection. He’s provoking unrest to justify martial law. Peaceful protests turn chaotic, and suddenly he’s the “hero.” Hitler did the same used democracy to kill it from within.

That is a literal Klan member. I’m not saying I’ll take proactive steps to reducing the number of racists (besides like, education), but if a literal klan member dies, what do you want me to do? Cry? Be sad? No way.

People are allowed to have harmful/wrong beliefs. If we can’t agree on that how are we supposed to function as a democracy at all?

Agreed. Freedom of speech isn’t there to protect popular opinions. If human rights aren’t for everyone, then nobody has them. If we accept the conceit that it’s ok to violate the rights of the “right” groups of people, then we open the door to limitless abuse. Back in the day, nobody would have disagreed that a horse thief (or whatever) should hang. But if you let the local vigilantes get away with “rustlers don’t deserve due process” then before you know it you’ve got the whitecaps running arou

Dehumanization often leads to unjust killing. You can say awful things about them, but you don’t get to rob them of their basic human rights or else you become just as bad as them

I know this wasn’t what the original post was about but this is important. It’s something every constitutionalist should be made aware of. And btw before anyone accuses me of being a radical. I despise both democrats and republicans (MAGA). I think of myself as a centrist.

If someone posed imminent danger to my life, I would obviously defend myself. But if I killed every person in this country who would prefer that my particular minority didn’t exist, there’d be a lot of dead people in this country

You think that people illegally invading our country, looting, and burning the American flag is a bad reason to deploy the military? Absolutely crazy that America is the only country that is expected to take in anyone without becoming citizens.

If a dude yelled in NYC streets that he thinks gay people should die, you’d have the right to kill him?

The post says all racists’ lives don’t matter. It doesn’t say people who commit hate crimes. So the example would apply to a guy yelling in the street, not just someone who physically attacked a gay person

nd blaming every crime on the town’s only black guy. If you create exceptions to basic rights, everyone’s going to want to put their own enemies in there

just bc someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they're racist ?? you should read what op had commented as they have good points. How do you determine who's racist? What if you mess up and kill someone you thought was racist but wasn't ? You don't kill people who think bad things, that's authoritarianism

That’s not how the law works. The president doesn’t get to unilaterally order the national guard and marines to break up protests. Btw they are largely peaceful. I also never said I’m opposed to deporting illegal immigrants. I think most people feel the same. But it needs to be done humanly and constitutionally. Not authoritatively like Trump has demonstrated

Obviously if someone is violatently protesting they need to be brought in for questioning. But the vast majority of the protest is not like that. You can watch livestreams. And talk to people who live there instead of going with the mainstream media. Btw one pregnant women has been hospitalized after being ruthlessly detained without due process. Reporters have been shot at directly with rubber bullets. That means they are no longer non lethal. Rubber bullets are supposed to be shot at the groun

I’ve also heard reports that some people have lost an eye but that remains to be confirmed. I heavily recommend learning the actual political inner workings of democracy. The president does not have this authority and this is in fact a constitutional crisis. Again I despise both political parties. I don’t have a political identity that clouds judgement. I look at the facts, And then I analyze them. I HAVE NO SKIN IN THE GAME!
