
Well an extremist is someone who has very out-there views and believes that society should be drastically changed. They at the very least do not oppose violence as a method to do this. A Christian believes in and follows the teachings of Jesus Christ (though I would argue that extremist Christians don’t do this)(I have no problem with actual Christians) Extremist Christian’s use their beliefs to justify behavior that is often hurtful or violent. Know who are, say, homophobic. Often ifs because of ‘christianity’. Think of white supremacists. They’re not always Christians, and I’m not trying to say they are. I’m just saying that if it’s motivated by religion, that’s Christian extremism. It doesn’t matter how much normal Christians would disagree with their actions. There’s gotta be a lot I’m forgetting, but yeah, that’s the gist of my understanding.
