At this point I fully believe social media and having a phone where you can talk to anybody and everybody at any time is truly the reason why relationships don’t tend to work anymore

To add to this, people feel way more entitled to your time and attention because of smartphones. This applies to platonic and romantic relationships and it is very draining.
