In a way yes, while it isn’t likely to solve the immediate issue at hand, it keeps people active on the topic, spreads awareness, and prevents our speech from being ignored and shut down. Quite literally it’s people saying, we’re still here, and our stance hasn’t changed. Without that movements lose momentum. So yeah, they are doing something, but you might not recognize it if you don’t consider what would happen without protests.
