A lot of the hate on white people is justified by saying “well white people are in power and oppress people!” But they fail to realize that the ruling elite is not representing white people as a whole and bigotry against white people cannot be justice excused as “punching up”

Like if I start running around insulting Mexicans and justify it by saying “well some Mexicans are drug dealers!” It’s not fair

I don’t agree with “hating on white people for being white” bc that’s not good manners, and not something they control. However, many american white people I’ve met, whether wealthy, middle class, or poor—have projected some sense of innate superiority and denigration/demonization of ppl from other backgrounds. Not all white ppl, obviously, but many to the point it is a serious problem
