was your insertion experience painful? mine (3 years ago) was atrociously painful. i’m hopeful that pain management options are better now than they were 🥹 especially since i’m terrified of the pain of getting it taken out in 5 years haha

aw no that’s terrible :( it definitely hurt but it wasn’t too bad, they gave me medicine to open my cervix, and i took ibuprofen before the appointment. i’m sorry yours was so terrible, that’s the worst! maybe they can give you the cervix meds and it will help❤️

yes they gave me the same meds! one to open my cervix and they told me to take a couple ibuprofen beforehand. it just didn’t do anything to touch the pain at all haha
