babes i hate to break it to you, but the govt is mainly composed of men (yk the ones that pass laws and bills, are the main power of the country, deal with foreign affairs, etc), men are still paid higher wages for the same job, women are still fighting for basic rights to their autonomy, are still at the same risk (if not more) of being assaulted. men can’t even deal with men without resorting to violence. your original statement was to have women give men permission. with what actual power?
my original comment was probably misleading and only painted half the picture, i also believe a huge contributor to the crimes against women issue is that there are a lot of men who may not commit the violence, but are indifferent towards it, and it does seem a lot of those men are in government unfortunately. but then back to my point those same men are voted in by huge women voting blocs, and the women voted into office who do nothing are also heavily supported by women.
there is a smaller but non-ignorable portion of men who know exactly how you have to deal with the rapists/pedophiles/assaulters/murderers etc but those same men get labeled as violent, aggressive, off putting by mostly women and unfortunately other men, who are basically women anyways.
