America is basically communism but for corporate greed. I mean really, why is it ok for mega companies to buy entire streets of homes? Why is it ok for corporations to lobby against laws that will HELP the people? So we are forced to be corporate slaves.

That’s because mega companies lobby and buy up their competitors. Capitalism needs competition to work. It helps bring competition, prices, and push innovation forward. Worst of all it’s robbed Americans of the ability to walk if they don’t like the “asking price”.

Exactly, it’s getting to the point the companies can demand any price and if we refuse they say “tough luck shit head we are the only company” but it’s technically not a monopoly because the other smaller companies are umbrella under the big one.

The question is how we solve this tho. Lena Khan did a lot for American competition by restricting mega corps and passing consumer friendly laws. More politicians like her are needed.
