Today in news that wouldve gotten any other president impeached, the president wants to put his MUGSHOT on a $250 bill. He’ll have to approve legislation that changes the law which states no living person can be featured in bonds.

I completely agree with you but just to be accurate that’s not his mug shot, it’s his official presidential portrait if I remember correctly. Still just as insane to want to do though of course

Im aware it’s not the same file, but i thought it was public knowledge that Trump specifically wanted the portrait to be inspired by the mugshot, the photographer that took the picture said as much in an interview Torok tells Polin that Trump’s mug shot directly inspired his official portrait, calling the latter “one of the most searched images, maybe ever.” https://petapixel.com/2025/01/21/photographers-react-to-donald-trumps-wildly-edited-official-portrait-daniel-torok-photo/
