go into the perspective of the characters in the movie, from their perspective there is only the time that exists within the length of that movie. they would experience is scene by scene, and when the movie ends so would they (in this world at least. but from the perspective of you, outside of their time, there was never a moment you were “waiting” while their entire lives played out. you knew it as soon as it came to be
