I mean I agree that not either one is 100% correct, but being lukewarm in the middle doesn’t really lead to anything either. Especially in this previous election, I felt there was a clear better option. Did I agree with everything they said? No. But I voted for them because it was the better option.
true. i agree that neither party is perfect and its difficult to be on board with everything one says and not believe yourself to be brainwashed. however, from a left-leaning viewpoint, ive had many conversations with right-leaning folks who voted red. most of those conversations i try my hardest to remain impartial and give only facts, while the other will deny and deflect what i’m saying. it’s frustrating, and it really is making me believe they’ve been brainwashed. not their fault of course
though someone is at fault, and it is the politicians in charge of that party. ripping apart medicaid/medicare, snap funds, social security, who does that help? why do the rich need more money and tax cuts? why must we continue to fund the genoc¡de of Palestinians? who are immigrants really hurting? theyre working jobs no american will do. they support everyone. i cant responsibly understand anything coming from that party.
