The only time I use female (I am a girl) is if I’m saying something like female vs male friends or some shit instead of being like yea my girlfriend and I are going out to do this! Or she’s my best girlfriend so that the context isn’t misinterpreted or if I’m in classes and have to use male and female otherwise I don’t use females either

Male and female as adjectives are totally cool in my experience. It’s when people use “female” as a noun instead of “woman” that people get ickes out
