Absolutely disgusting how people can genuinely believe this. Yeah Iran is still leagues behind us in terms of civil liberties, but that doesn’t make them “pure evil”. Irans leadership is definitely aggressive and temperamental but for the most part Iran, like every country, is just protecting their interests and capital

literally. little do they know that EVERYTHING Iran is for, they are against.. Women’s rights in Iran is NON EXISTENT. LGBTQ+ is quite literally illegal. so why you rooting for them? i don’t understand

Why does Israel get to have nuclear capabilities when they are currently enacting a genocide? You think israel has good morals? You think its not in iran’s best interest of self preservation to at least give the image that they might have nuclear weapons so that israel doesn’t use theirs?

I don’t think we should bomb them but we also shouldn’t root for them either. I just don’t want us to be dragged into another war because it puts us in danger of retaliation.
