
It’s what they’re not doing. They’re not interacting with their kids. They’re not disciplining them. They’re not teaching them emotional regulation. They’re not playing with them. They’re not restricting access to tech. They’re not monitoring tech. They’re not raising their kids. They’re giving them a literal addiction because it’s easy and lazy. I work in education. The amount of toddlers with headphones head dents is depressing.
…no, severe ones starting from this young in childhood are permanent. They’re physically altering the structure of the skull. Ones from pressing down on your hair and mildly skin (not much scalp skin to swell/compress anyway) from casual use as an adult are temporary, but I’m talking about physical bone dents
