Yeahhhh so doesn't that mean literally anyone in that 20% should be afraid of the draft because they are significantly more likely to actually get drafted. And as a fit candidate I completely oppose the draft. If the government starts a war I don't agree with I shouldn't be forced to fight on their behalf. Defense is a different story. But this war is not about defense.

This all ignores the fact that there won’t be a draft at all. It’s political suicide for anyone to suggest it, the military sure as hell doesn’t want a draft, and it’s not like we’re facing a threat that would even remotely constitute its necessity. Unfortunately most people only have a surface level understanding of this stuff and lose their minds over nothing

I’m just encouraging people to calm the fuck down a bit and stop worrying about completely irrelevant issues when there are plenty of REAL things to worry about. And back to that 80% number, the 20% is just those that meet the basic standards for entrance. The actual number of people who’d make it through is far lower
