I have no idea what puff pieces you’re reading or what clips you’re watching, but you’re totally wrong on both counts. Plenty of the things I saw had clips of him talking and there are plenty of clips where he looks gracious and respectful, because he was gracious and respectful.

There were numerous black people in his circle of personal friends, In his organization and just in his life in general. He never made a disparaging statement about black people, he promoted them within his own company and at the same time encouraged several to start their own businesses and platforms. There is precisely zero evidence that he was a racist and plenty of evidence against that. Don’t sneer at someone for something they weren’t.

The person I brought up as an example is Amir Odom. A prominent creator and someone whose career was uplifted by Charlie. The photo is from an early time they had gotten together before an event. Amir’s latest video is him defending his friend from the lies and smears being spread about him following his murder.

Starting with the first one. On the topic of DEI and following the announcement from several airlines that they had been instituting racial hiring quotas (which is illegal per the Civil Rights Act) Charlie pointed out how that puts doubt into the minds of customers as to the airlines employee’s qualifications. Hence him saying if he’s sees the pilot is black he is going to think “God I hope he’s qualified” commenting on how these practices harm the perception of those that benefit.

As for the statement in question, it’s a natural position that flows from the premise “abortion takes a human life.” If you accept that premise, the rest follows. It’s wrong to force a 10 year old to carry a child, but if the option is to shoot another child in the head then most people would actually fall on Charlie’s side. It’s about the definition of what a child is.
