Heck, native Americans were always trying to kill other tribes anyway. Point is, obviously it’s horrible what has happened in some instances, but Hamas are still holding Israeli hostages, and they are costing innocent people in Palestine their lives.

You could look at it that way, or you could look at it as the Israeli government costing innocent lives because they won’t release hostages (there are 3,500 Palestinians held without charges in Israeli prisons)

See it goes both ways. Both sides literally suck. But to compare it to indigenous Americans is just untrue, simply bc the Israelis were there almost 3,000 years before the Arabs showed up. So that’s why I made the comparison of Israel being indigenous, but if the indigenous people were more powerful than the invading people

Im sorry you do not get to claim land because your distant distant ancestors (who you SHAREA with Palestinians) were there 3000 years ago and then your religion/ethnicity largely moved out and was naturally replaced by a different people. Its not their land any more than it belongs to the Palestinians, and even then its more likely that the Palestinians have more of a claim to it

Land ownership didnt even exist before colonization. Israel didnt exist as a state before they took the land. People of all religions lived there beforehand. Its not fair to forcibly remove people who were already there so you can take their land.

No, I think thats unfair too. I don’t understand what part of what I said implied that I did. People should reach fair compromises, not use violence to take things and keep them from others. Truly, I dont think its about religion or who was there first. I think the only reason Israel cant just be happy with the land they already have instead of trying to take it from Palestinians, is because they want the oil and resources.

You are saying Israelis are indigenous to the land which is not a fact because it is still debated by historians. Saying both sides suck implies that both sides are equally responsible for the violence and oppression that exists. It is wrong to justify violence against or the displacement of people who are already living somewhere. It would be wrong for Americans to be forcibly displaced from this land, even though colonization is the reason we are here, because we are here right now.

You’re very right, it’s always wrong to justify violence. Israelis are the first known people in that land, so we’ll go with they were definitely there before Islam. A ceasefire was agreed to, but Hamas would not release hostages, so ofc Israel is not gonna mess with that. Both sides are in fact more or less equally responsible for the violence, so yeah I’d say they both suck, but the Israelis represent the indigenous Americans in your argument because, for the 8th time, they were there first
