It’s because of the way the government is going about it. These are real people with families and real lives who’ve probably contributed a lot to the workforce but they’re being treated like animals who’ve committed crime worse than murder

It’s difficult to get in legally though. In a perfect world, they would all be legal, but processing takes so long. Picture you have a family, and you think the us will be the safest spot for them. You’ve been struggling for years. Wouldn’t you break a law to make sure the people you love are safe, and have a chance at happiness? Because if you wouldn’t, you don’t love them

Great point. But we are a nation not a babysitter. We have citizens that can’t even afford to feed their family so why don’t we worry about them first.

you still have to be ready for the punishments for breaking that law if you get caught. no one is above the law

I agree, but the punishment has to fit the crime. Sending someone to die is not suitable

what 😭😭 if they’re afraid of dying in their country they can seek asylum. no one’s being sent to die wtf

By sending them BACK babe. There are legal ways but they can be difficult to achieve or understand, so they enter illegally, get deported, die

seems like your just assuming everyone who gets sent back dies 😭 like wtf that is most certainly not true. reread my comment again until it makes sense to you. if they are afraid of going back to their country, they can say so and then they won’t get deported, it’s THAT simple 😭 afterwards is the asylum screening process etc to see if their fears are valid and whatnot but you should hopefully get the idea bc i can’t break it down much further or make it any easier to understand
