When did Ukraine attack Russia? Actually, Putin himself has stated that he wants to reclaim ā€œhistorical Russia,ā€ which is non-Russian territory the Russians invaded and annexed throughout history such as Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltics, Finland, Poland, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

You can't say you support Russia and hate Israel. They are both doing the same thing.

He’s simply against western civilization. Also, Israel is retaliating against Hamas and has been fighting against other Islamist and Arab-supremacist groups since the 1940s, Ukraine has never touched Russia until Russia attacked it

ukraine has been attacking russian speakers since 2014. ā€œhistorical russiaā€ refers to the land WHERE RUSSIANS LIVE. in russia there are multiple words for russia and russian and they all mean different things, and of course the us media chose the one that sounds the scariest to trick people like you

ā€œukraine has never touched russia until russia attacked itā€ you definitely think the conflicted started in 2022, and not 2014 with roots in 1991-2012 with US meddling in ukrainian general elections. but you never hear about this

The ethnic Russians in Ukraine are colonizers who moved there when Soviet Russian invaded Ukraine and started separatist rebellions against Ukraine in 2014. Also, false, Russia has had imperialistic ambitions for centuries, otherwise they would’ve just annexed the eastern territories and called it a day as opposed to trying to take out all of Ukraine

the ethnic russians have been living there since way before the founding of the soviet union. russian language has been present and widespread in eastern ukraine since the 1600s. soviet russia never ā€œinvaded ukraineā€, there was never a ukrainian state to invade

and wrong, the separatist rebellions were started by ethnic russians in ukraine and then backed by russian government forces as their goals aligned

and they are not trying to take all of ukraine. if they wanted to take all of ukraine they would be invading from belarus and opening a second front rather than concentrating forces on the russian speaking regions that are subject to forced ukranization and oppression for religion, language, ethnicity

the fact that you even think russians only got there in soviet times proves you know nothing about the historical context and reasons for the conflict other than what you have been told by the media

Excuse not colonizer from the Soviet Union, colonizers from the Russian Empire, my b. Again, false, the Muscovite Rus (which became Russia) invaded the Kievan Rus (which became Ukraine) throughout the 1600s. Plus attacked Poland, the Baltics, Finland, the Polotsks/Belarussians, Central Asians, Caucasians. Russia is the imperialistic aggressor, point blank period

They did invade from Belarus too you idiot but they were halted before reaching Kiev and the Russians differed most of their forces to the east. And yes, the ethnic Russian colonizers started rebellions backed by the Russian government against Ukraine

I forgot to mention that Russia also invaded Tatar Crimea during that time too. And when Ukraine gained independence from the Russian Empire, Soviet Russia reinvaded Ukraine after a few years of Ukraine independence

what are you even talking about? this is wrong on so many levels. the kievan rus’ was destroyed by the golden horde, and subsequently annexed and divided amongst many principalities. muscovy was the largest and most powerful and eventually came to dominate the region. the kievan rus’ did not exist to be invaded into, it was lithuania and the tatars

yes i am aware they launched a low level invasion from belarus before diverting priorities to the front along kherson. that is also the doing of lukashanko. and again, the russians are not colonizers to eastern ukraine. you have no idea what you are talking about

There was the unified Rus state centered on Kiev and then there was the break up of it where the Kievan principality and Muscovite Rus and others emerged. The Muscovite Rus attacked the Kievan principality

ā€œa few years of ukrainian independenceā€ you mean constant turbulence and rump states with zero government structure or international recognition beyond a mildly organized army in the middle of the civil war? who were either completely subservient to the germans or bolsheviks? ā€œindependenceā€

The Russians aren’t indigenous to anywhere in Ukraine, they invaded it for centuries and are trying to claim it for themselves. They have no justification to touch Ukraine, period.

False, the ingenuous people are the Ruthenians/Ukrainians. Even Russian Soviet leaders reiterated this when they drew up the inter-Soviet borders. Why would Russian leaders give Ukraine something that was rightfully Russian?

Also, the Ukrainian nation-state and the Russian nation-state changed their names many times throughout history, so look up the Russian invasions, attacks and annexations against the Cossack Hetmanate. Yes, there were parts of Ukrainian territory under Polish-Lithuanian control too.

Parts of Ukraine were also occupied centuries prior by the Mongols. Also, Ukraine became independent when WWI ended. They weren’t a German puppet state. Ukraine had a legitimate independent democratic government that the Bolsheviks overthrew when they invaded Ukraine. The Germans already f*cked off from the Eastern Front after the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, regardless, the Bolshevik invasion wasn’t justified, and it wasn’t blatant imperialism
