I believe that we should forgive people like this and keep them at a distance. I’ve had a similar situation with my father where he owed me thousands of dollars…and instead of going to court I waited. Now his situation is better and he can pay it off. I think something similar happened with your friend. Forgive them. Have a great day. 👋
