honestly i like it because it’s not as strenuous as tennis and easier to get good at while still being a way to keep your body moving. Obviously tennis is better but pickleball is better for low mobility or people that just want a fun hobby that keeps you moving

I’m a tennis purist, but pickleball is great for accessibility. It’s also hard to socialize playing tennis because you’re like 50 feet apart most of the time. I still love playing tennis but imagining a casual game with friends or especially older relatives, pickleball is the move

Tennis but easier so if you like tennis play its better and cooler brother, pickleball. It has less running which you want to do on really hot days

Older people tend to be more conservative and they’re the ones that get into it. Since it’s something younger generations can do with them, they get into it too. It’s more so a demographics thing, I know plenty of liberals that like pickleball too

i dont get the point of doing a sport to work out less... maybe if you need it for accessibility reasons, but it's just unathletic otherwise imo

Well if im playing with my little brother or a kid then they will get cranky after burning all their energy. No one wants to deal with a cranky kid. And even then its to have fun. Not all sports are for competition or working out. Its just something to do instead of being outside on my phone or TV and I really hate being all sticky sweaty during it.
