The worst thing someone can do is turn from republican to democrat. Democrats will not welcome you but shame and hate you for ever being republican. The only people they like is people who were always blue and they fight with hate and assault republicans

Funnily enough, I used to do political canvassing as my first job. The rule of thumb in the industry is if you campaign for a Republican candidate, Dems will still hire you in the next season if you/the candidate did well. However, republicans will not hire any company or consultants that has affiliated with democrats, even in just a professional manner
