The reason why the world is shitty now is because of nerds like Musk, Zuckerberg, and Bezos. Nerds can be shitty, jocks can be shitty. Turns out personal interests/hobbies don’t generally determine how shitty people are. Anyway, I know ai is horrible, but chatGPT is actually really good at helping with math homework. Even advanced stuff. Maybe use Lumo if you don’t want to support a shitty company.

Yeah some people are just assholes ngl. Unfortunately, you’ll find people that believe being good at something makes them better than other people in pretty much every discipline

So, physicist here. I personally think all my fellow physicists, professors and students, are the nicest people ever. I hear horror stories all the time about the people from other majors and have never experienced a teacher or student that was rude for no reason. That being said, that might just be to other physics majors, there’s definitely a superiority complex towards every other major(other than math)
