Being racist isn’t good enough reason to lynch someone.

I’d bet you think half the country is racist, where does that leave us?

There’s also a very varying degree of racism, and a random racist person who likes to say the n-word is very different to a KKK member who would kill people over their race. Not saying lynching is the way to go in the modern day, but they lynched poc all the time, can’t be too mad to get the same energy back

well apparently you also think it’s ok to lynch ppl with racism as a justifier. so which is it? you can’t be racist and hate racists at the same time

That’s a dumb take, like I said, lynching shouldn’t happen in the modern day. Back in the times it did happen, I wouldn’t be surprised if a KKK member was lynched as retaliation tho. But there’s a reason due process exists, and KKK members should get to go through that process just as much as the immigrants that aren’t getting it now. I wasn’t adding fuel to the fire if you actually read what I said

you didn’t clarify that it was in the past, i thought you were talking about them getting lynched in the modern day. and idk how tf you got to immigration or due process from this topic but immigrants do not currently have to right to due process

I said “not saying lynching is the way to go in the modern day” and I got to due process because I was saying instead of lynching, KKK members should still get due process and get a proper punishment. Just as immigrants should be getting their due process. Legally, they should be getting due process, they just aren’t getting it because this country is run by a felon who doesn’t give af about the law

exactly why i thought you were talking about the modern day. and yes, legally they should USUALLY be getting due process, however the president can LEGALLY suspend it during times of national emergency, which he declared as of jan 20 this year and is still in effect. so everything he is doing is entirely legal. please educate yourself before you spout nonsense

Not sure how me saying “not in the modern day” made you think I was talking about the modern day but okay. And what kinda bs are you spewing?? The 5th and 14th amendment prevent the President from LEGALLY suspending it. Nowhere in the constitution does it say a national emergency constitutes suspension of any rights except for the habeas corpus clause in article 1 section 9, which says “shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion”

And Habeas Corpus isn’t related to the due process rights given to anybody in the US in the 5th amendment

“not saying lynching is the way to go in the modern day, but they lynched ppl all the time” how is that not talking about the modern day? the term “modern day sets the scene for whatever you say after. and dude i PROMISE you have no clue what you’re talking abt. the national emergency he declared is the INVASION OF THE SOUTHERN BORDER😭😭😭😭 so yes it is suspended legally. so nice try i guess but you got a lil more self education to do.

I mean, many white people back then lynched many black people for existing or having nicer things than them… It’s just the law of equivalent exchange 🧍
