As an almost 21 year old man on the spectrum who works very hard but has low social-confidence and is not physically attractive, how do I not feel bad about being a virgin, especially with FOMO? How is my life any better than men who aren’t virgins?

In my experience nothing changed for me after I lost my virginity I didn’t feel or view things differently. My life wasn’t any better just because I lost my virginity and my life wasn’t better as a virgin either. I can understand the feeling of missing out, I lost mine later than most people I knew but I promise you, it’s not life changing.

People have their first time at many different ages, well into their twenties. I know it can seem like “everybody’s doing it” but thats just not the case. Sex can be good, it can be fun. But theres also a lot of mediocre sex. A lot of people are just out here going through the motions not even because they like it. So thats just an example of how things aren’t necessarily “better” just because you’re having sex. But I know feeling like you’re missing out on something is lonely and valid.
