Tell that to ICE, I don’t recall them reading anyone their rights, showing any identification, giving anyone phone calls or access to an attorney, putting anyone through the court system, or really doing anything that law enforcement is federally required to do, and if they’re not law enforcement, then they don’t have the authority to arrest anyone

What about the people who dont have that money? What about the people fleeing from warzones or other tragedies that cannot afford the time to wait for the legal paperwork to come through? A STAGGERING number of undocumented people had to make the choice between breaking the law and little bit or death. For themselves and their loved ones. If you didnt have the money or time to wait and pay that 15000 and your life and the life of your entire family was on the line would you make any other choice
