it feels like an epidemic because social media connects you to people you otherwise would have never met or known about. we’re actually not built to know about the identities and lifestyles of thousands of ppl lol. its still a minority of women actually doing that and this sort of sex selling thing during hardship has existed for a long time globally (unfortunately).
